About Meterwise

Meterwise is a test version of a simple, unbiased energy bill check for financial counsellors. It shows the least-effort way to a better price: what to ask your current retailer, then the cheapest plans on offer.

It is built and operated by ECO Systems Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN 24 697 054 327). The same company runs Fix Your Bill, a commercial comparison site that may be paid a commission by a retailer when a household switches through it.

Neither site can be paid to show a retailer or rank it higher. Results are ranked by estimated cost on the household’s own usage.

Meterwise is kept separate, on the same comparison engine:

• nothing on Meterwise earns a commission or fee;
• each retailer’s own phone number and sign-up page are shown;
• records are kept separately and are not used by Fix Your Bill.

Meterwise does not access meter or smart-meter data. It works from the bill you upload or the figures you type in.
